The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination to recruit candidates for important posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO), and this recruitment offers a great opportunity for candidates who want to secure a stable and well-respected government job with good career growth in central government departments.

SSC declared the Tier-I Result on 27 February 2026, and shortlisted candidates have now become eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, which is the Tier-II examination, where the commission evaluates candidates’ skills and knowledge further.

To continue the recruitment process smoothly, SSC has released the Tier-II Admit Card on 07 April 2026, and candidates must download it from the official website before the examination date so that they can appear in the exam without any issues.

The admit card acts as a mandatory entry document for the examination hall, and it contains important details such as exam date, shift timing, exam center, and instructions, which candidates must check carefully to avoid any confusion on the exam day.

Candidates should download their admit card as soon as possible, verify all details properly, and carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card to the exam center, because without these documents, the exam authority will not allow entry into the examination hall, and proper preparation along with time management will help candidates perform confidently in the exam.
