About UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024
The UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 is one of the most prestigious competitive examinations in India. Through this examination, UPSC recruits officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and several other central government services. As a result, lakhs of aspirants appear for this exam every year.
UPSC CSE 2024 Application & Preliminary Examination
UPSC started the online application process for Civil Services Examination 2024 on 14 February 2024, and candidates submitted their forms until 06 March 2024. Initially, UPSC scheduled the Preliminary Examination for May 2024. However, the commission postponed the exam and finally conducted it on 16 June 2024.
UPSC CSE 2024 Main Examination Schedule
Candidates who qualified the Preliminary Examination appeared for the Main Examination, which UPSC conducted from 20 September to 29 September 2024. Afterwards, UPSC shortlisted candidates for the next stage of the selection process.
UPSC Final Result & IAS Reserve List 2024
After declaring the Mains result and completing the Personality Test (Interview) in January 2025, UPSC announced the final result on 22 April 2025. Subsequently, UPSC released the IAS Reserve List 2024 on 29 October 2025 to fill vacancies created due to non-joining or resignation of selected candidates.

Now, on 05 February 2026, UPSC has published the IAS Reserve List Marks 2024. Candidates can check their written examination marks, interview marks, and overall total score through the official UPSC website.
