Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Date 2026 for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) recruitment. Candidates who qualified for the Tier-I examination can now prepare for the Tier-II exam scheduled on 10 April 2026. This recruitment drive offers 3131 vacancies for posts such as LDC, JSA, and Data Entry Operator.

SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Date 2026 – Complete Details

Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination every year to recruit eligible candidates for clerical and administrative posts in various central government departments and ministries. This recruitment offers stable government jobs, good salary packages, and long-term career growth for candidates across India.

The commission started the online application process on 23 June 2025 and closed it on 18 July 2025. During this period, thousands of candidates from different parts of India submitted their applications for the CHSL recruitment.

After completing the application stage, the commission conducted the Tier-I examination starting from 12 November 2025 at multiple examination centers. The Tier-I exam served as the first stage of the selection process.

SSC released the Tier-I answer key on 08 December 2025, allowing candidates to check their responses and estimate their scores. Later, the commission officially declared the Tier-I result on 27 February 2026.

Candidates who qualified in the Tier-I examination now move to the Tier-II stage, which plays an important role in the recruitment process.

The commission will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier-II Examination on 10 April 2026.

SSC will release the Tier-II Admit Card soon on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by logging in with their registration details.

The admit card will contain important information such as:

  • Exam date and shift timing
  • Exam center details
  • Candidate information and roll number
  • Important instructions for the examination

Candidates must carry the printed admit card and a valid photo identity proof to the examination center. The exam authority will not allow entry without these documents.
